Specialists Jim Green and Greg Brann will cover in the workshop:

  • How to develop a grazing plan to manage pasture forage for maximum production 
  • Essential practices that will make pastures thrive and meet the year-around needs of grazing animals
  • How to use fence placement, water placement, and animal movement to improve forage survival and use
  • How to determine the condition of a pasture.
  • Cost/Benefit of hay vs. forage
